ServiceNow Developer – HRSD

Job Description

The ServiceNow HRSD Developer will be responsible for designing, configuring, developing, integrating, and supporting ServiceNow Human Resources Service Delivery (HRSD) solutions. The role involves translating HR business requirements into scalable ServiceNow solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, configure, develop, and maintain ServiceNow HRSD applications.
• Implement and support HR Service Delivery modules including HR Case and Knowledge Management, HR Services, Employee Service Center, HR Catalog, Employee Relations, Lifecycle Events, and HR integrations.
• Translate business requirements and HR processes into technical solutions.
• Configure HR Services, HR Criteria, HR Templates, HR Catalog Items, Case Types, and HR Workflows.
• Develop and maintain Business Rules, Client Scripts, UI Policies, UI Actions, Script Includes, ACLs, and notifications.
• Configure and develop workflows and automation using Flow Designer.
• Develop integrations with HR systems such as Workday, SAP SuccessFactors, AD, payroll systems, and other enterprise applications.
• Build integrations using REST/SOAP APIs, IntegrationHub, MID Server, and web services.
• Develop custom scripts using JavaScript and Glide APIs.
• Configure Employee Center/Service Portal components and HR-related user experiences.
• Implement role-based access controls to protect sensitive employee and HR data.
• Create reports, dashboards, and performance analytics for HR stakeholders.
• Perform unit testing, system integration testing, and support UAT.
• Troubleshoot production issues and provide root-cause analysis.
• Support ServiceNow upgrades, releases, enhancements, and platform maintenance.
• Follow ServiceNow development best practices and prepare technical documentation.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Hands-on experience in ServiceNow development with strong ServiceNow HRSD experience.
• Experience with HR Case Management and Employee Service Center.
• Strong JavaScript and ServiceNow scripting skills.
• Experience with Flow Designer / Workflow.
• Experience with ServiceNow integrations and APIs.
• Knowledge of ServiceNow data model and application architecture.
• Experience with Employee Center, IntegrationHub, MID Server, and integrations with Workday or SAP SuccessFactors is preferred.
• Knowledge of ServiceNow reporting, Performance Analytics, Automated Test Framework, upgrades, and instance cloning is preferred.
• Understanding of HR data privacy and security requirements.
• ServiceNow CSA/CAD certification and ServiceNow HRSD implementation certification are preferred.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline; equivalent professional experience may be considered.
